Got a challenge:
- we have a standard PS level 3 laserprinter without external RIP
- we have several special, non Pantone spotcolors
- we need to print separations from Acrobat CS2
- printed plates getting printed b/w (standard for prepress)
How do I get those single plates getting each printed in CMYK
simulation colors ?
(I am not talking about putting those plates back together for a
single color print)

Take a tool like callas PDF Layer Maker. Generate layers of all your
spot colors and print them out one by one.
