Same old debate. If the printer is not going to be expected to act on the
color in the file in any way then, yes, submitting in CMYK makes sense.
That's pre-binding. If all they are good for is to take what we give them
with one hand and throw it onto their presses then that's the right logic.
The customers are known to do their own color management in their offices
then that setup is perfect.
So, Rolf, if your statement is true (I don't see why it wouldn't) this means
that most artists, studios, agencies that work with these printers all do
their own color management and submit plate-ready files for output?
