This is new stuff, indeed.

Maybe others? Do they say which ones by any chance? Possibly the 4000?

OK. We'll have to see how "great" ;-)

Epson generic profiles on Epson semi-matte paper and ISOcoated reference
profile, test image with Fogra 2.0 strip printed in RGB from Photoshop
through Epson RGB driver? Average DeltaE under 3 for primary, etc.? Not bad
indeed. Sounds like it's worth pursuing for those who don't use proofing
RIPs, color measuring instruments and profiling packages!
This is enouraging news, coming from Epson or any other serious inkjet
printers manufacturers. Well, I'll say if this proves to be true that it's
about time something like this happen.
And I'd like to ask, apart from the primary colors, any impression on what
the match an ordinary RGB image? Was that demonstrated?

So, it's an instrument-based linearisation? Well that's even better news
then, Kamil.

Yes, thank's for bringing it up. I'll see if can download a copy and try it
here on my 4000.
