We too are using Eucledian dot (maybe not for long) on lotsa fleshtones,
with Magenta at 45, and looking at some prints today, I had the impression
that the dot shape was creating a pattern? Something like streaks. With my
10x loupe, wherever I saw the pattern, it was plain to see the dots being
squared in shape. You know, at 50%, the Eucledian inverses? Becomes square?
I don't see anything else that could explain this visual phenomenon which
our clients complain about. I hope to have my Elliptical tests and RT Y45
K-fine and IS Y-fine next week. I'll let you know what I find.
