This answer is 'off topic' for this forum re the issue of dot gain and the
yellow 183 lpi.
Do not just blame the screening. Check the yellow ink being used, this can
alter from batch to batch, changing dot gain. Check this by moving the
yellow to another unit, and using another colour plate.
Is the the unit at fault, are the blankets OK? Try to remove all the
possible variables on press as well as checking the plates and screening.
