Hi guys,
I was just shining my red 660nm laser pointer on my LCD monitor when I
noticed that the "intensity" of the reflected beam varies across the surface
of the screen (highest at center, decreases towards the edge). But this does
not happen on my CRT (remains constant no matter where I shine the beam).
To your knowledge, is this a function of polarization by the
twisted-nematics inside the LCD?
