Apple's web site on Aperture states:
"Master image becomes locked digital negative"
So I assume all the edits, metadata, etc. are kept in the SQL
database, and the RAW file is not modified at all, correct?
The RAW file is never touched. Iterations can be saved back to the DAM
alongside the archive RAW file. "Locked
Digital Negative" is nothing more than the originating RAW file. . .
