to make sense.

Apple's web site on Aperture states:
"Master image becomes locked digital negative"
So I assume all the edits, metadata, etc. are kept in the SQL
database, and the RAW file is not modified at all, correct?

DAM. This will be interesting for those of us interested in
integrating this into an existing multi-user workflow and archiving
system, or making a complete transition down the road. I hope Apple
will lay out a roadmap of where they plan to go with this app. A
server version would be huge...
