L*is a very linear gradation which takes into account the LUTs from both
the video card and from the monitor. It
replaces the debate between displays at gamma 1.8 or 2.2 with a much more
pleasing result.
Eizos with L* are very accurate both in neutrality and in equal levels of
local contrast separation.

Any experiences already? Any official relation to basiccolor, OEM or
license, or Eizos own version of L*?
Maybe is possible to get some kind of SDK or detailed info about L*
construction?
