Thanks Jon,
ok, this is what we can get with basiccolor - but my question, maybe
especially for people from Eizo (they was in list in past, not?) or for
Karl Koch: i am simply curious - is Eizo Lstar same as from basiccolor?
Are you cooperating or is Lstar algorithm licensed to Eizo, or has Eizo
own proprietary algorithm to get widely known (and discussed) results ?
Thanks

L*is a very linear gradation which takes into account the LUTs from both
the video card and from the monitor. It
replaces the debate between displays at gamma 1.8 or 2.2 with a much more
pleasing result.
Eizos with L* are very accurate both in neutrality and in equal levels of
local contrast separation.

Adds a L*gamma value setting.
Corrects a problem where the results of post-calibration adjustments
are not saved. (Windows version only)
Any experiences already? Any official relation to basiccolor, OEM or
license, or Eizos own version of L*?
Maybe is possible to get some kind of SDK or detailed info about L*
construction?
