Hello Tyler,
I just updated the basICCoolTool Shadow Match to version 1.0.1 so
that the application launches in english with an english help.
You only need to login at http://license.basiccolor.de/login.asp?
oemId=1&language=EN and then download the basICCoolTool Shadow Match
v1.0.1 installer. After successful installation you can request
online a 14-day-tryout license to evaluate the product without any
limits.
Following a short description:
This application enables to create a colorimetric table with black
point compensation for a fixed
profile combination.
The destination profile will be modified to adapt the black point to
the reference (source) profile.
The result will be saved in one of the three rendering intent tables
with a new profile name.
For this purpose the destination profile has to be a 16-bit LUT profile.
Afterwards the profile pair can be used with every CMM in every ICC-
compliant application.
The black point compensation has been fixed in one of the three
rendering intents.
Beside the reference (source) profile every other profile with the
SAME black level as the reference
(source) profile can be used.
In particular every matrix-based profile and working spaces are
exchangeable.
Best regards,
Hanspeter Harpf

Sounds intriguing, any idea how it can be had?
Tyler
Hey all,
BasICColor´s Shadow Match is the software of your choice.
I am using it with some lfp rips that can´t handle the bpc on
relative
colorimetric rendering intent and it works perfectly well.
Best regards,
Karsten.
