Hello Roberto!
I'm using Excel to make BPC from time to time.
I'm using nonlinear L* scaling, I'm expanding L* range (Lmin, 30) to range
(Lmin2, 30) while leaving L*>30 untouched. L=30 is the turning point in
curve, I can alter it to adjust expanding ratio in shadows. In the same
manner you can write an expression to make any correction you want. Like
gamma correction, you can evn use sinusoidal correction:)))
Another way to correct L* channel is to export measurements to TIFF (in
ColorLab), apply any curve to L channel in Photoshop and convert TIFF back
to mesurements.
