If my memory serves me well, it took me about 2.5 hours and I was averaging three readings per color patch. That is a tough one because I as well as most operators I would usually set up and walk away from the spectroscan. You can average over four readings per patch I think; so, this will convolute the available information on scan times as well. My measurements were with Gretag Macbeth’s measure tool. Other software may vary in times on top of those variables. You will probably have to time a scan in your workflow to know for sure. Sam Landry
Sorry to pick your brains, once again, but I need to know (approx.) the time it takes to measure an ECI2002 target on a GretagMacbeth Spectroscan. A search in the archives did not turn much, here, and there was nothing on the GMB site about such a statistics that I could find -- unless I missed it?
