bitmaps

Hi group,

not absolutely sure this post is relevant to this group as colour is not the point. Anyway here it comes: till now I've have focused on "photographic" output mostly b&w but also colour through IP on an Epson 2200. So far so good. Now I'm getting interested on mixing media and processes. To be more concrete: digitally captured images printed via printing press using photopolymer plates (and/or) photopolymer film.

The first step is get a (positive or negative) screened image on transparent media (Agfa CopyJet in my case). This is usually a 1bit image and as I printed composite RGB images characterised via input and output profiles when it comes to print bitmap images on transparent media, I'm lost. Have you got any "hint" on how to do it right?. You know input resolution and other relevant parameters.

Thanks a lot,
Roberto Diego
