Just speaking from experience with all Microsoft promises, what they
say they will deliver and what is delivered and the timetable for
such never quite materialize. Vista (a.k.a. Longhorn) itself is way
behind the schedule of when it was first announced and those promises
of security did not mean much when the first hole was discovered only
days after the first beta release.
The sky is not falling.
And if they have all these great plans for color management, I really
wish they would first apply it to their own desktop publishing
applications. Currently, Publisher and Word are the horror for
prepress color management workflow.

Sounds to me like the CMS software vendors are going to have issues -
hardware vendors might like this.
