Hi
I had a look at this when I did an updated review of the Spyder2 Pro
<http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/article_pages/spyder2pro_update.html>
It's good that it is a software update and you don't need all new hardware.
I used a big lump of Blu-Tac (UK version of sticky stuff to hold up posters
on walls etc) to hold the sensor to a ball head on a lighting boom. Holding
the sensor in place during the measurements could be a bit of an issue if
you want to use it at some venues (not to mention the hassle of taking a
tripod etc with you)
I did try it on a wall at home and it seemed to do a fair job in
compensating for the creamy off-white paint. I suspect that it could do very
well, but I had to give the projector back before I could do lots more tests
:-(
bye for now
Keith Cooper
