Hi All,
I don't know how many of you use or have come across the wikipedia which is
an interesting experiment in creating an online encyclopedia. Entries are
editable by anyone but remain high quality despite what you might imagine
might happen.
I looked at the color management entry here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_management
and didn't think it was very well done due to its awkward Microsoft slant. I
thought that some member of the list more knowledgeable than myself might
want to give a go at editing/rewriting the current entry.
There are some basic rules to editing:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Simplified_Ruleset
Policies and Guidelines for contributors here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Policies_and_guidelines
If you create a free account, the article is attributed to you for
promotional purposes.
Amazingly you don't have to ask anyone's permission, you just dive in.
Cheers,
Eric Perlberg
