Hi Paul,
I am running a G4 Dual 500 MHz with 1.25 GB of RAM. I am running Tiger
and CS 2. I do have three high speed SCSI disks for my main disks.
The rest are Firewire. I work mostly with RAW Leaf files that are 41.1
megabytes each. When expanded to a 16 Tiffs these files are over 128
megabytes. I am happy with the speed of the system. However, I have
turned off most of the features of Spotlight. I would love to have the
old Find File from Jaguar. I do not like Spotlight at all.

My G4 is a dual 500 MHz and it has 1,5GB of RAM, lots of disk space,
but
it seems inappropriate to run the programs. Working on large Photoshop
files
is almost impossible, especially if I have another program, say Golive,
opened
at the same time. Maybe my problem is not due to the software installed
but
to some other reason. I have sometimes Classic launched in the
background.
Have you had good yields with such equipment? Thanks for the feedback!
