Hi Diana,

I can add another 500Mb bar to reach my max at two gigas.
I will do it, this should only improve things.
Turning off journaling and Spotlight should certainly help too.
Scratch disk is large enough, maybe I'll set a RAID 1 if that really helps.

Thanks a lot!
Paul

Hi,

More RAM. Photoshop 8 can access 2 gigs of ram, (and
then you need more for the OS and whatever else is
running (GoLive?).

CS2 can access 3 gigs of ram. I have 5-Gs.

Also, if you have another internal hard drive, set
that to be your scratch disk, and if you can set it up
with a separate partition for scratch, and turn off
journaling, on it, all the better!

HTH,
Diana
