I just wish that there were not so many ways to compute the same thing: so
many Color Inconstancy Indices, so many methods to compute Delta E...

I just wish that -- some day -- somehow -- we could all manage to simplify
this bounty of confusing choices.

Chalk it up to "wishful thinking".
