It's much more likely that you were simply randomly targeted based on your
whois record. Your hosting provider's administrator may be able to track
down the source of the messages and do something about it (since it can
eventually lead to them being unfairly blacklisted, they will usually at
least make an effort), but the best course of action is to simply not use a
catch-all address and let the bogus bounces bounce themselves.
