Hi Roberto,

I have a Circon as well. Heidelberg has not built software for this unit in some time. The last version was for OS 9.

I am using Silverfast from LaserSoft to drive my Circon. It works very well. In my opinion it has a better human inface and is easier to use. It also does an outstanding job of dealing with scanning negatives.

Check out this URL:

Hey fellow listmembers,

I just unearthed a Linocolor Circon that was in our warehouse, and
can't find the software that came with it.
I have a Linocolor 6 installer (from a Topaz) and it doesn't support
it. I also have a LinoColor Elite 5 installer (from a Saphir) and it
doesn't support it either. It supports all the "jewels" except the
Circon!
So which is the Linocolor version to support this scanner? any
Heidelberg page where it could be downloaded if I lost the original
CDs that came with the scanner?

best regards,
