Hi Roger.
Yes, a casual user may get the impression that the Custom CMYK command
allows one to tinker with the settings in the currently active profile, but
the probing user will notice that no matter which profile one starts with,
the settings in Custom CMYK always come up exactly the same every time.
Which in itself suggests that the Custom CMYK engine is a completely
separate mechanism, not related in any way to anything having to do with the
active profile or any other ICC profile loaded in the OS.
