differently. I'd say his opinion is that the ancient Custom CMYK is
better than having the "choice" of only one profile that can't be
adjusted. I believe it's the "faith" that one-size-fits-all that he
finds "calibrationist". I don't think many here would disagree with
this narrower statement?
There are also times when being able to do things like create
different Black Generations is more important than the drawbacks of
the inaccurate and dated Custom CMYK. Let's not throw it away until
all it's functionality has been replaced.
When you don't have the right tool, the wrong tool can be better than
none.
