Hi Douglas,
I use ErgoSoft RIPs on several multichannel printers. I profile them With Monaco PMP. We use ErgoSoft Texprint, a textile industry specific postscript RIP. In Texprint there is an option under the menu bar tools> options> postscript called 'import DCS as separated file" that is set incorrectly for multichannel profiling on installation. I know that you are saying that yours is not a postscript RIP, but if I remember correctly the default setting on Texprint (unchecked) of import DCS caused multichannel DCS's and Tiff's to convert to CMYK (which would explain your orange and green channels dropping out.) I would investigate whether or not you should have postscript capability. On our RIP it is an option that is activated by the license code and at least once I've gotten a code from Ergo that did not give me all of the features that it should have. I would also dig around for a 's
eparated file" check box and try to change it from the default setting. Ergo's tech support has been helpful for me, are you in touch with them? Email me off-list and I will give you the number if you do not already have it.
Best of luck,
Sam Hill
