What does Egrosoft recommend for creating custom 6/c profiles?
This is what has befuddled me on this one.
Through all of my research prior to purchasing this RIP the fact that
you could not profile my printer as a multichannel device, what has
been recommended to me, was not apparent. Even my asking in various
forums in regards to profiling with the RIP was this ever brought out
as a potential downfall.
This is the RIP that is bundled with the Roland FJ-PROII to produce
the Di'Vinci solution.
So basically for any hi-end inkjet printing this RIP requires that
you use their profiling solution.
Their solution is the ColorGPS product they produce. A little out of
my budget at the moment (around $3200)
Can you see what format the linearization images are in for 6/c?
They are generated on the fly by the Density/Linearization module of
the RIP according to how many patches you want printed.
