With nearly every one shot DSLR I've ever seen, the encoding (in camera RAW
to JPEG) is either sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998) so it's not a big guessing game
here (or if you shot the images, look at the matrix setting on your camera
or look at the EXIF data from the JPEG).
