"Minor', "probably", all words that make me wince. Though you may feel comfortable with that, when I am asked what I suggest,my professional advice would never be to keep using a lossy format.
Some people would rather feel the thrill of the challenge that comes with handling risk (it's that macho thing, ya know...), and that's their choice. Speaking for myself, I don't endorse that approach.
