Does pre-linearization relate to what I have seen described as "iterative profiling"? One way that I recall being described to do this is, after a normal testchart/measure/profile sequence, to print a second testchart, using the first profile (instead of sending the raw data), and then re-measure, and re-profile.
I haven't tried this, but some people seem to find value in it. I'm confused regarding the logic of why it would work, but maybe someone can clarify -- or correct, if need be.
