I contacted XRite support concerning this about 24 hours ago (via the web interface), but have not yet received a response, so I wonder if anyone here has info.
If I try to configure either PM 5.0.7 or the version of MeasureTool that comes with it with my first-generation EyeOne Pro, either program crashes while accessing the Instrument Configuration dialog. I'm doing this on my PowerBook G4 running OS 10.3.9. Using any earlier version 5.0.5b or earlier, there is no problem. Has some thing been changed?
I tried removing the existing ProfileMaker 5.0 and MeasureTool 5.0 preferences from ~/Library/Preferences, but it still crashes.
I can continue debugging, re-downoading, reinstalling, running on another computer, etc., but thought I'd see if this is a known issue before getting more involved.
