Sorry about not chiming back in sooner, barn-burner at the shop.
In respect to the concept of pre-linearization and itteration, got a question.
My RIP is ErgoSoft PosterPrint, using internal linearization and individual channel limiting. Here is my general workflow. 1. Linearize and limit at/through the RIP. 2. Measure and plot linearization test strip to re-confirm performance. 3. Measure, plot and evaluate TIL test charts and determine TIL. 4. Print and measure profile target. 5. Create profile.
If using Profiler, would it be who of me to go through the linearization step in Profiler in addition to the linearization at the RIP? In escence adding a step between my #'s 3 and 4?
Finally understanding the "sweet spot" of the linearization curves at the RIP where the limiting should be going on.
