Hi Marco,

Pre-linearization is what you are mentioning there. Yes, I certainly wish
there was a way to apply that procedure in ProfileMaker (which is the
software I have). Is there?

Take a closer look at X-Rites Colorport Software. It allows you to create prelinearized targets that you can use in PMP for profile creation.

I just have the localized german version here but you will have to print a linearization target first and measure it. Then choose X-Rite Profile under Targets, click on user defined and activate the linearization button and choose your lin file.

Of course this will only work if your spectro is supported!

Regards,
Karsten.
