Hi Roger,
Hope you will compare apples with apples. I mean that you have to set
the same type (settings) of black generation in each profiler.
The "GRACoL 7 2006 Cotaed1" ICC profile we’ve put on our web site was
made to help comparison with other profilers. We’ve used UCR black
generation because it shows the ability to generate very good gray
balance from highlights to midtone, without black.
We’ve also put another version of the "GRACoL 7 2006 Cotaed1" with a
"longer black" (starts at 25-30%), compared to the first one who was
set for "short black", starting at 40-50%, which is the default UCR
setup in Monaco Profiler!?
