As I have already stated earlier in this forum, I consider basICColor display the best monitor calibration softrware that I have been able to find so far.
Specially so when you use its L-Star mode with its 16-bit LUT mechanism. The results are very neutral, and color seepage is greatly reduced, compared to other packages. Tonalities are also very evenly distributed across the whole range, without the abrupt transitions that I have experiencesd using other products.
Also, the latest version of basICColor display implements a version of the CIECAM model (the very able Mark Fairchild's labor of love, which is receiving some coverage lately because of its debatable adoption within the Windows Vista OS).
