Also, for anyone who's using basICColor v4, any comments/
observations in
general about its performance?
Today I tried to calibrate a Eizo CG210 with ColorNavigator and then
testing the results with U-Dact. U-Dact reported that the profile
quality was good, but the grey linearity was off. The monitor's
quality was considered good enough for lay-out, but not for proofing,
even not for newsprint proofing. Then I tried basicColor v 4.1 with
the same settings that I used with ColorNavigator. At the first try I
got a profile that was good enough for proofing an image in ISO
Coated. When I compared the profiles the dark areas were much bluer
with the ColorNavigator profile.
