Most Fine Art printers use Onyx Postershop with the Roland. But ColorBurst Windows and EFI ColorProof XF have mature support for Hexachrome too. All take a Hexachrome Monaco profile and support the DTP41 device and have robust calibration tools for calibrating a Hexachrome inkset too. I have been working with a FJ540 for the past six months on Hexachrome proofing and fine art project using these RIPs and more so I have pretty good grasp of their capabilities. Contact me offline for more info.
I have a whole bunch of published articles and presentations about Hexachrome on my website, <http://www.rpimaging.com/knowledge_base/articles> that might be of interest too.
