I have tried using Bills new testcharts for printer profiling.
I have been using the "RGB 4096 Eye-one Target"(4 pages) without any
success.
It seems like the reference file is not correct in the layout.
When open the file up in Measuretool the Target is in "landscape mood" and
not in portrait as normally. When trying to read the target the Measuretool
wants to read a long the side of all 4 pages in one go (128 patches), which
is impossible to do. I spent most of the day editing the textfile comparing
with other GMB Eye-One reference charts without any success. I can make it
turn to "Portrait" settings but the Measuretool and Eye-One refuse reading
it giving me "Error" message that I must be on the wrong row.
Anyone have any success with Bills target (specially the 4096 patches) and
Eye-One? I have 3 papers with this targets printed on for profiling and I
start feeling this will be on its way to the trash and then tell the printer
"sorry we have to do this again but with other targets" :((((((((
Targets name is:
"RGB 4096 Eye-One_4P"
You can download them at his website.
By the way I use the PC version of his targets....should be the same
right???
Any help is grateful,... getting desperate here...
Regards
Soren
