That's absurd...though of course they clearly qualify it all as just representative of their specific tests. I certainly noticed a huge benefit going from 1GB to 3GB on my G5, though I do tend to work with very large files. I can't even imagine working with 1GB these days, even as a light user.

I'm actually curious about what people think of running PS on a machine with multi-GB's of RAM -- I always though that would speed it up (so I've always bought lots of RAM), but this new test suggests that PS speed is limited by something else. Maybe the effect of RAM on speed depends on what exactly you are doing in PS? Like needing to work with files larger than Macworld's (50MB)?
