I have no experience with the equipment you are mentioning, but if this were
happening to me, I would carefully audit the scanning process for any
possible place(s) where an unintended color transform of some kind may be
occurring. It could be that in Tiger there are settings which affect the
color output that need to be addressed differently from those in Panther.

Photoshop (check your color settings to be sure), it seems more likely that
something has changed in the way *the scanner* is operating.
Myself, I am still holding on to Panther, exactly because I'm hearing too
many stories like yours, and I don't feel up to the extra sleuthing work.
