new eye one ruler question

  • Subject: new eye one ruler question

I just got in my new eye one ruler system and the first thing I noticed is when I am reading in a chart the eye one sits higher off the material then the original ruler did. So when I do a measurement, I can actually see the light from the eye one reflect off the material.
Is this OK. I am not sure I am using this new ruler system correctly.
Thanks
Steven Kornreich
