The only problem I've encountered is the surface of the laminate can
interfere with the measuring device. I was working with a crystal
laminate. Regular gloss or matte, and a different brand of crystal
surface seemed to work fine.

The subject line should say it all, but has anyone tried to profile
a media post-lamination? A client tells me they have problems with
colors shifting after the lamination process (using fine art
medias). I started wondering if this could be a problem solved by
color management (can't everything)? I'm certainly willing to try a
little experiment, but I wonder about the consistency of the
materials being used, and the process itself.
Has anybody else tried this, or has a better way to contend with
this color shift?
