30" Cinema Display inconsistencies

| I recently did a calibration and profile on a 30" Apple Cinema Display using GMB eye-one display2, latest version.
The issue was after adjusting the brightness slider the measured luminance dropped slowly for 6-8 minutes until it would stabilize. I would start at 120 Cd/m2 and it would drop over time to 104. It did not drop quickly but it did drop. As well we measured 140 cd/m2 on the right side and 110 on the left. It sounds like we had a defective unit. Has anyone seen similar issues?
