Andrew, et al...

Will has been spouting this stuff for some time now, and has been widely
discredited. However, as you mention, the fact that he is sponsored by Fuji
(and others) who have a solid following in the pro photo market gives him
some kind of "instant credibility". Every time his dog-and-pony show comes
to my town I have to spend 2-3 weeks "un-teaching" all the local shooters
who go to his seminar. I wish we could get his sponsors to see the light,
but I'm guessing they feel he is moving product for them, so they leave him
alone.
