I think part of what Roger Siminoff said has been left out of the
conversation. I believe he said Apple's support is for the ICC. They have no
interest in fractionalizing the market, or in supporting WCS.

I think another important topic is to discuss the places where CIECAM can be
implemented. How about in the profile building applications, or in the CMM.
Shouldn't we be hounding Adobe, GretagMacbeth, X-Rite, ... about this as
well. I think I heard an estimate of 95%+ of Photoshop users use the Adobe
Color Engine.

Is anyone in this list using AppleCMM? Others?

That might be a good place to start. Even at the 2004 color management
conference, there was talk of Smart CMMs being developed within the
framework of ICC.
