A very good question that I am not equipped to answer.
Maybe some of the more technical people have some insight?
My point is that I have seen descriptions of smart CMMs in development, and
WCS seems to be right along those lines. How far are we from seeing Smart
CMMs in ColorSync or ICC architecture?
