The other issue I'm having now is that I need to profile a number of
monitors and I was hoping I could disable the brightness control of the Monitor
through the Function Keys F14 and F15. I've searched the archives but could not
find the solution.
Is there an easy way to reassign or disable these keys?

The easiest, and only way I’ve found to disable the
keys, is to unplug the USB cable for the monitor. You then lose the USB ports
on the monitor, but the function keys don’t work. The brightness buttons
on the side still work however, you just don’t have a visual interface
pop up when you touch them. Now if you disable the brightness buttons before
you unplug the usb cable, both the buttons and function keys are
inoperable.
