Yes, I think you people should stop rumor-mongering because you will
put me out of the rumor business if you continue to do it for free :)
I just hate the amateurs who trade in *cheap* rumors :)
As for CV, I warned their competitors some time ago that CV would
employ the cashflow generated by their excellent lowball marketing
to hire some decent engineers and clean up their product - I'm happy
to see positive reports on Spyder 2 that indicate this has occurred.
I do regret that the big two don't do any decent marketing that would
allow the market to grow properly. CV's ads convinced a lot of people
to buy a calibrator.
CV may have been guilty of letting marketing get in front of quality -
on the other hand, Microsoft did very well by chanting the same
mantra.
Last, not least, everyone has noticed where the Huey comes from - one
might conjecture that CV have been appropriately punished for their
past sins.
Let's go and find some new rumors to monger :)
