Hi David.

That was a fine choice some years back. I had access to one, and appreciated
its usefulness at the time. Today it's obsolete, in my view: it uses SCSI
connections, it's slow as molasses, noisy as a car wreck (...almost), etc.

Instead, I would suggest that you consider the EyeOne iO automated scanning
table outfitted with the EyeOne Pro Rev B (a faster spectro than the
previous generation).

True, the iO doesn't have the transparency option that is available in the
Spectroscan T, but, if that's not a feature you use much or at all, then
there are not many reasons left to go for the Spectroscan.

I don't work for GretagMacbeth, nor do I receive money from them or any of
their associates (I wish...). It just seems to make sense to me, based on my
personal experience in color management.
