Ok kids, lets not get too carried away with hype and hysteria. And if anyone
has to go there please keep it of this list.
Yes, it looks like that Xrite is interested in buying Gretag, but from my
one of my X sources, who by luck I spent the day with and shall remain
unnamed, he leads me (and others in our group) to believe that this is not a
done deal and that no one can predict the future, (even if they have a
blog).
Meaning, that to finalize this merger it has to get approved by a lot of
parties and a lot can change before that time comes. And until then or until
the date of the final sign off, it sure would be nice to hear more about the
technical details of color management than about speculation, rumors and
gossip.
Mileage will definitely vary.
