Yes it is and there are arguments both side of the fence. I even heard that
Fogra is pushing for the next ISO-13655 standard to mandate the use of
UV-cut filters on spectros. Wrong in my opinion and those of some highly
regarded color scientists I know of. But, we'll see. There was also a CIE TC
formed to study the matter and, if I memory serves me, the conclusion was
that UV filtration altered readings of the magenta and yellow but not cyan
and black. Guess what that does for skintones?

You mean the (limited) profile editor is only included in the PhotoStudio
package? You know, that may all change soon...

I've encountered one instance where an EyeOnePro saved the day over a Monaco
Optix. And, yes, as much as I like the Optix, and I know how some members of
this list have made it their defacto recommendation to their clients, I'm
not prepared to discard the emissive accuracy of the EyeOnePro in favor of
the Optix. I have both in my stable of instruments, here.
